Wolverine

Rage and Sadness… Where is the subtle humor that was used to make Wolverine so enjoyable? If you are looking for the grin that makes him look human… look for another story. Action packed without soul. Rating: 3 / 5
I purchased the Marvel Premiere Classic HC of Wolverine. This is the orange/black cover (with issue #1 centered) 2,000 only limited version that contains Wolverine #1-4, and Uncanny X-Men #172-173.
And what’s the first page? Page 17.
No introduction, just a brown filled page, then Page 17 of Wolverine #1. This HC contains pages 17-144 of the trade.
Ridiculous. Rating: 1 / 5
The thing about this book is that you get a whole series in one book. A really good story to read with a unpredictable twist. Rating: 4 / 5
loved the story logan fights for his love than meets a new girl yukio rules here and it’s good to learn how she was hired by the hand to kill logan but then turns on them cause she loves wolverine and is jealouis of mariko it’s sad to see that this ninja theme with wolverine would be repeated to death over the years still this is a good story glad shingen’s dead and too bad mariko died later on and logan never got over her death. Rating: 4 / 5
This conception of Wolverine as a fallen samurai humanizes what was once an one dimensional beserker character. Miller does some of his best art but Claremont is overly wordy at times in his scripting. This is still the best story about a generally uninteresting Marvel comics character. Rating: 4 / 5
