Captain America Vol. 2: Winter Soldier, Book Two

part 2 is a total mess (pt 1 wasn’t much better). overall if you are a captain america fan you’ll probably hate this for many reasons, if you are a casual comics fan you might think its ok, if you read a lot of comics and are tired of the same overused garbage from the big two publishers you’ll hate this.

Its a great Story Marvel has finally found a way to give Captain America some edge or some form of grit to make him real instead of just being symbolistic to its franchis comics already has its square in books and let Superman continue to hold that mantle of being bland. Rating: 5 / 5
All Marvel writers were given one simple edict concerning bringing characters back from the dead. That was that only 2 characters were off limits, uncle Ben Parker and Bucky. They had to stay dead. Somehow, Ed Brubaker pulled off a coup by not only bringing back Bucky but making it ultra cool and believable for the medium. Great stuff! Rating: 4 / 5
Winter Soldier is some of the best comic book material I have ever read. Volume 1 and 2 of Winter Soldier will make you crave for what’s next which is Red Menace vol 1 and 2!! Great stuff people, GREAT stuff!! After those you will have the pleasure of moving on to Captain America Civil War and then the clinchers, The Death of Captain America Vol 1 and Vol 2!!!!! To finish that series off for now it’s a must to get “Fallen Son” the Death of Captain America. Trust me, if you get these books in the order that I gave you, you will be in awe of the great writing and art work. It’s great for all ages as well. Comic books have come a long way. Instant classic reading!!
