The first comic to come out of the new partnership between the Dabel Brothers and Marvel is Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter in Guilty Pleasures #1. Recently, Les and Ernst Dabel along with New York Times Best-Selling author Laurell K. Hamilton, the writer behind the Anita Blake series of novels, sat down for a tell-all Marvel podcast. The Dabel Brothers told of how their boyhood dreams of making comics has come true and revealed what is on the horizon now that Dabel and Marvel will be working together. Plus, Laurell K. Hamilton fielded questions on what is was like to see her creation, Anita Blake, in a comic book. Laurell even told of a convention where fans almost broke out into fight in order to get a piece of art from the upcoming series.
